A cut-off mark is a minimum score required by a student in a particular examination to be considered for admission into an academic program. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is responsible for setting the cut-off mark for universities in Nigeria. In 2021, JAMB set the cut-off mark for all universities in Nigeria at 160. This means that any student who scores 160 or above in the UTME examination is eligible to apply for admission into any university in Nigeria, including Kogi State University.
